Il B10X Plus funziona solo a batteria e viene utilizzato non solo per scattare foto ma anche per girare video. In particolare la luce a led continua rispetto al modello precedente passa da 2500lm a 3200lm, quindi circa un 40% in più. Sempre rispetto al modello precedente ha una velocità di ricarica più elevata.

Le impostazioni del flash sono veloci ed intuitive, quindi il fotografo si può concentrare nello scatto senza perdere tempo. Grazie anche all'APP di Profoto il fotografo può avere tutte le impostazioni a portata di mano ed anche installare nuovi update.

Non solo l'APP di Profoto agevola il lavoro del fotografo ma anche il Bluetooth AirX che permette di scattare con lo smartphone modificando e pubblicando le immagini e video immediatamente.

A complemento del flash ci sono diversi accessori di light shaping della serie OCF ed anche svariati light shaping tool.
